Virtual Facilitation Bootcamp

Transition your meetings and workshops to a virtual space!

Kim Roth Howe of CoCreative Labs and Eva Jo Meyers of Spark Decks are offering resources for those whose facilitation work may currently be impacted by COVID-19 precautions.

We hope to answer questions like,

• "How do I run a collaborative process like a consensus workshop, action planning, or world café?"
• "How do I ensure fully inclusive participation... engage quiet folks and keep people from talking over each other, 'checking out' or multitasking?"
• "How do I foster a connected, relational and high-energy atmosphere online?"
• "How do I do all this with a group who's not very tech savvy? (And what if I'M not very tech savvy?)"
• "Which tools and software could support me in doing all this?"

This session will focus on:

• How to translate in-person processes and facilitation skills to online spaces
• Simple tools to support a range of activities
• Best practices, tips, and resources for online engagement

This bootcamp will take place via Zoom and Google Docs. If you do not receive the email with sign in information 24-hours prior to the event date, please email us, as sometimes these messages get held in spam filters!

PLEASE NOTE:

• This is a fast-paced and interactive 2.5 hour bootcamp, and we hope you can be present for the whole session.
• Registration is limited to 40 people. Please only register if you definitely intend to participate, and please cancel if your situation changes so we can open your spot to others.

• These intensives are being offered on a sliding scale and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Eventbrite requires a minimum of $1 to register.
